A Prayer in Each Finger

A PRAYER IN EACH FINGER

The thumb is nearest you. So start praying for those closest to you. They are the most easily remembered. To pray for our loved ones is "a sweet obligation".

The following is the index finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, professors, doctors and priests. They need support and wisdom to indicate the correct direction to others. Keep them in your prayers always present.

The next finger is the tallest. It reminds us of our leaders. Pray for the president, congressmen, entrepreneurs, and managers. These people direct the destinies of our nation and guide public opinion .. Need the guidance of God.

The fourth finger is our ring finger. Although many were surprised, is our weakest finger, as you can tell any piano teacher. It should remind us to pray for the weak, with many problems or prostrate by disease. They need your prayers day and night. Never be too much to pray for them. You should also invite us to pray for marriages.

Finally is our little finger, the smallest finger of all, which is how we see ourselves before God and others. As the Bible says "the last shall be first." Your pinkie should remind you to pray for you. When you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will see in the right perspective, and you better pray for yours.
